Vūsic Privacy Policy

Vūsic is built so that your music stays yours. This policy explains what the app does — and, more importantly, what it doesn't do — with your information.
What we collect
Nothing. Vūsic has no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Formatics, LLC does not collect, receive, store, or sell any personal information or usage data from the app.
Your content
The sheet music and recordings you load into Vūsic stay on your device. All of your work in the app — time anchors, loops, bookmarks, tags, annotations, and settings — is stored on your device alongside them.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, Vūsic keeps your library and your sync work in your personal, private iCloud account so they follow you between your Mac, iPad, and iPhone. This data lives in Apple's iCloud under your Apple Account, protected by Apple's security and privacy protections. Formatics, LLC has no access to it — it moves directly between your devices and your iCloud account. If iCloud is off, everything simply stays on the device.
Microphone
Vūsic's guitar tuner listens through the microphone to detect which string you plucked and whether it is in tune. The audio is analyzed live on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. The microphone is used only while the tuner is open, and iOS/macOS ask for your permission before the first use.
Children
Vūsic does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If Vūsic's privacy practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change takes effect.
